-Connie Schultz, Pulitzer Prize-winning columnist for the Cleveland Plain Dealer, who is one of the speakers at a special event entitled "Blue Room Salon" at the Lincoln Museum in Springfield on August 22. "Blue Room Salon" will recreate Mary Todd Lincoln's informal gatherings at the White House.

-Former New York City Ed Koch will discuss his time as mayor and the current Presidential race.

-singer Pauli Carman, from the popular music group Champaign. The local group had international hits in the 80s with such songs as "How 'Bout Us" and "Try Again." Paul Carman has just released his first Champaign CD in twenty years with "Carma." Pauli will join Gary in the studio to talk about Champaign's success, and play some tracks from his just-released CD.

-CLUB KRANNERT. Krannert's Public Information Director Bridget Lee Calfas joins Gary to discuss upcoming events at Krannert Center.

-Chicago radio legend Clark Weber, who was one of the top dee jays in the country during the era of AM Top 40 radio. He shares his stories in radio and of his associations with The Beatles, Diana Ross, The Monkees and more in his book "Clark Weber's Rock and Roll Radio: The Fun Years, 1955-1975."

-Local musician Jake Hertzog, an accomplished award-winning musician now living in New York City. he is a graduate of Uni High and the Berklee School of Music in Boston. Jake will perform live in the studio. He'll perform tomorrow at the Sweet Corn Festival in Urbana.
