We're less than two months away from the opening kickoff of the 2014 high school football season!  With the Illinois Volleyball team playing more Wednesday (and fewer Friday) matches, we'll have the opportunity to broadcast more high school football this fall!  Here is our planned

It's a winning streak!  For the first time since the Illini started Big Ten play 2-0, they've won back-to-back games, knocking off Nebraska 60-49.  As the score indicates, the Illini defense was very good tonight, holding the Huskers' top three scorers to 23 combined points and forcing 15 Nebraska turnovers.  The defense will be featured in one of tonight's nominees for the

Ding dong, the losing streak is dead!  The Illini, led by their freshmen, knocked off Penn State 60-55 on the road today.  Kendrick Nunn notched a career-high 19 points, and Malcolm Hill scored 11 in their first career starts.  As you might expect, the freshmen play a prominent role in my nominees for the Dick Van Dyke Appl

The Illini played the role of slump busters tonight, as Wisconsin knocked down 10-23 shots from three-point range in a 75-63 win.  Rayvonte Rice had a strong game with 24 points and nine rebounds, but didn't get a lot of help.  Joe Bertrand and Nnanna Egwu joined Ray in double figures with 11 and 10 points, respectively.  But, as you'll see in the numbers below, this one was lost
