Police seeking two suspects in attempted child abductions

Champaign Police say they believe two suspects are responsible for four attempted child abductions in Champaign over the past two weeks.

Deputy Police Chief Troy Daniels says a white male in his 20s or 30s with blond hair is targeting young girls, while a black male in his 30s or 40s is targeting young boys.

Daniels says he doesn't believe the two are working together.

He says Champaign hasn't seen this type of activity before.

Hear from Troy Daniels on the attempted abductions:

Daniels says that there are steps that parents can take to make sure their kids are safe when walking around town.

Hear from Troy Daniels on safety tips.

Daniels also says that kids should not walk around with headphones on.  If they are approached by a stranger, they should yell for help and run away.

He says parents should report any attempted abductions right after they occur.

If you have any information, you can call Champaign Police at 351-4545 or remain anonymous by calling Crimestoppers at 373-TIPS.

No need to have a lawyer on filing subpoena preparation for the thieves that they abused the children which don't have sin to be punished. They need to investigate the case of what's the main cause of happenings.
