Hey! Thanks for stopping by my bio. Please forgive all the grammar mistakes I can predict I will make.

I suppose I should start off where I grew up, the picturesque town of Catlin Illinois. I absolutely love Catlin and I go home to visit my parents and grandparents as often as I can however, I've always been a city girl at heart. I love Champaign; I think it's the perfect size, big enough to be interesting but small enough that I can get around fairly easily and most importantly I feel safe. Biologically, I'm an only child, but I'm fortunate enough to have several close friends that I've known since grade school who love me and support me in everything I do and I would consider them (Milly, Tyler, and Michelle) to be my soul sisters and brother.

I love to read science fiction books and any book recommendations are always welcome. I also love indy movies and my new passion is T.V. shows on DVD especially those that were canceled way too soon (Wonderfalls, Freaks and Geeks, and Arrested Development).

All of theses things pale in comparison to my love for radio. I've always been a Mass Media kind of girl, originally I wanted to be a singer and I started taking private voice and piano lessons in the third grade. I carried music with me all through high school and the first part of my college career by participating in community theater in Danville Illinois. Then I transferred to Parkland College because I thought that I wanted to be in television and that's how I discovered radio. I've made a lot of friends in the Parkland radio program and it was through the program that I got my job at Lite Rock 97.5. You can catch me on air on Sunday's from 3 P.M. to 7 P.M. I also work in the promotions department and on Sunday mornings I run the Church programs on Newstalk 1400.
