I believe ANYTHING can be done. In my life, I choose to think that it's possible! I know there is reality and there is hope. Hope is a much better way to live your life. I'm really thankful for what I have and try and appreciate it everyday. Ever since I lived in India when I was ten, I will always remember the horrific poverty I witnessed and how difficult it must be for so many on a daily basis. We have so much to be appreciative of living in America. I make sure I remind myself of that everyday.

Stevie Jay started in Champaign-Urbana in 1979 and has worked in radio ever since.

I showed up at a radio meeting in college and started working the glamour shift (midnight-6am)! Things went from there. I never expected to be in the business this long. But it's fun! I enjoy people and interacting with them. I always appreciate when anyone recognizes me. I'm always flattered when that happens.

Stevie has never been shy to share all aspects of his life.

I have an incredible wife and four fantastic children. Janet is amazing and I have loved being a dad to Nathaniel and triplets Christian, Benjamin and Grace. I think all aspects of my life have been followed by some for the last 25 years!

His regular radio guests include Steve Forbes from Forbes Magazine and former Illinois Governor Jim Edgar. Stevie loves being with family and watching movies and sports and following his kids around in golf tournaments!

After his daily radio show, Stevie works as CEO of the start up company VersaBuoy. VersaBuoy is developing a deepwater platform concept that Stevie says “could change the way the world uses deepwater!”
