The Champaign-Urbana Public Health District says two more cats have tested positive for the Tularemia disease.
One of those cats is in Champaign. The other is in Urbana.
Three cats from Savoy had previously tested positive  for the disease.
Four of the five sick cats are have either died due to the disease or have been euthanized.
Health district epidemiologist Awais Vaid says the cause of the outbreak is still under investigation.

The health district recommends that you do not let your cats roam outdoors so they avoid being bitten by rabbits and rodents that may be carrying the disease.
Humans can get the disease too, and the health district says to avoid that, you should wear bug spray when outdoors and avoid contact with wild animals.
